Xmas Eve

I didn't really put in the volume that I wanted to last Sunday.
Played a few tourneys while waiting on mini FTOPS 32

I made a deep run in it, but came up short in the end.
Busted in 67th out of 17,746 and cashed $383

Was really pissed for missing out on ~53K for 1st,
So went to a buddy's house and got drunk by the fire.

Didn't play again until yesterday. I played 16 rush 4.40s + few mtts
Got 5th in one for $104, min cashed in 3 including a FT bubble.
All in all, only made like $40 profit...

Saturday Night

Haven't really been putting in a lot of volume.
Only have played 30 tourneys this week.
And I've yet to even min cash in one.

Other than last night, I've been playing pretty well.
Came home and just donked off 5 real quick then went to sleep.

I fired up 4 90 man kos, since they only last a few hours.
I have to pick up my buddy from the airport tonight.

Wednesday

I took a few days off. I never went to bed after Sunday's disaster.
I fired up 3 tourneys around 8 am. I made a final table in one and made up
for everything I lost. I fired up 3 tourneys early this morning (around 5:45 am)
I busted in those and fired up 2 more. So far, I have cashed in 2.
Just made the money in a 6max, and busted in 18/428 place in the other.

We went back and forth for a bit, no one making any progress so we just chopped

Wed Night

Tonight has easily been the most frustrating session I can remember. I can't win for losing.
I've bricked everything I played tonight, not even a single bubble. Never in my life have I run into Aces so much.
Just fucking unreal. I'm not playing particularly great, but I'm not playing bad either.
I just registered for a 90 man sng and one more mtt. If i brick these, I'm just gonna cry myself to sleep.

Well, I'm out of my tournaments. I min cashed in the mtt and got a few KOs.
Gonna call it a night, cant stand looking at this fucking computer screen any longer.

Tuesday Night

Well, just like most nights, I got shit on by Full Tilt. No cashes at all, just a few semi bubbles.
I played a decent amount of tournaments tonight, not too many but probably around 10.

I just couldn't get him to fold. maybe I should have jammed the turn, but he most likely still calls me.
I've played with that moron a few times before, which is the only reason why I played it the way I did.

I'm not superstitious, but I do believe online poker tries to set you up at times.
A lot of times after I chip up, I get moved to a new table. Nothing out of the ordinary there since it is a MTT.
But shortly after getting moved, I usually pick up a big hand and get coolered.

Pretty standard, I know. A lot of the times someone is just making a move with maybe a mid pair or a big ace and my QQ is the big favorite. I was talking to my poker buddy on skype at the time and I said, " Can I really get away from this hand?" I just had a sick feeling that the guy 4 betting had KK or AA and I was crushed. My buddy of course was just making fun of me, basically telling me I'm a fucking moron and theres no way I can fold, "its an insta shove". I told him theres no way this guy is 4 betting for that amount without having me crushed. But in the end, I said fuck it and jammed on top.

Heres another hand that I really wanted to fold. But like a dumb ass, I told my buddy what I had.
It wasn't a turbo, and even only having 20 big blinds (if I folded), I felt I could pick a better spot. He again berated me after I told him I was gonna fold when the button flatted. I really didn't think they would both fold, and if I was called, I was gonna be dominated. Which is exactly what I told my jackass friend. Well, I squeezed to shut his ass up and this was the result....

Thursday Morning

Haven't posted my results in a little over a week, but thats because theres been nothing to post.
Lot of min cashes and straight bricks. Been running kinda bad and not playing all that great either.
I didn't really put in a real session tonight.
I was mostly watching my buddy make a run at FTOPS event #1 trying to upgrade from his silver jersey to a gold one. He made a good run but ended up getting 218/4500 for $495 ($216 buy in but he satty'd in for 75)

Only played 4 tournaments, I did get 3/658 in a $3.30 KO for $185 though.

Fri - Sun

I bricked everything I played Friday. Went out Saturday night, I end up stumbling in at 2 or 3 am and played a few tournaments, which I didn't want to do. Usually if I play on a Saturday, I'll end up playing all night and passing out in the early morning. Then I have to listen to a certain friend bitch about me missing yet another Sunday session. I stumble in and fire up some tourneys, I min cashed in one. Ended up watching some tv and passing out.

I grinded all day Sunday....and bricked every fucking tourney. I started off with the 11$ super stack 14k guaranteed at 1 pm, and a $3.30 turbo. I only made it a few hours in. After those, I played the early daily doubles and the double deuce.

Bricked the DDs rather quick, don't think I made it even to 2nd break. I did, however, run pretty good in the 22. Picked up some big hands and was flopping sets, things were looking good.....for the first 7 or so good size pots. I lost a flip TT v AJ for 1/4 my stack. He flopped trip aces and J hits the turn, NH sir. If I held, I would have been around 15th in chips. Not too long after and a short stack jams utg, with AT. I called with AJ and he outflops me, so I double him up as well. should have been a big stack, but after those 2 hands I was just middle of the pack.

Didn't pick up a lot of big hands after that and kinda just blinded off. Just sat back and watched the morons play. I finally try and make a play and the biggest idiot at the table limped JJ blind vs blind. I 3bet the flop with bottom pair and Q high flush draw, he smooth called. he checked, I jammed a blank turn, he obviously called and I missed river. Should have just kept folding and maybe min cash.

Session started off like most nights, pretty shitty. Played a total of 10 tournaments.
Ran kinda shitty but at the same time, I didn't play all that well either...

I only cashed in 2. I got 18/170 in that $5.50 6max Turbo that I busted in 12th a few days ago.

Sunday's session

I wanted to put in a good grind session on Sunday, but I got drunk and stayed up playing Saturday night/Sunday morning. I should have gone to bed. I think I played about 7 tournaments, bricking them all. Anyway, I was pretty tired Sunday and ended up falling asleep watching football.When I did wake back up, I registered for the 11$ super stack 15k guaranteed prize pool at 7 p.m. I made a good run at it, but came up short in the end. I busted in  66th place (around 3:30 am) out of 2,574 people, missing out on a good chance to make some real money. I also played the $6.40 super turbo knock out. I didn't cash in it, but I did get 8 knock outs, so I actually made $1.60 profit. After I busted in the super stack, I was a bit demoralized for grinding over 8 hours and cashing basically nothing. I took a little break, then played a 6max and a 90man. I bricked the 90 man, and bubbled the Final Table in the 6max. Yes, truly bubbling the Final Table....7th place. Even though I made profit in 3/4 of the tournaments I played, I'm still pretty pissed I didn't make a Final Table and take down a tournament.

Saturday Night

Tonight has been pretty bad. I played  4 or 5 tournaments tonight and just started another 6max.

Bubbled the last one I was in. (27/220) short stacked shoved, I tried to isolate and biggest idiot at the table

Was 5 handed for a while, pretty even stacks. Got caught trying to steal blinds with JT otb. The sb tanked and called with AQ. He won and I was crippled, but tripled up the next hand with AK. Won a good pot with AQ vs AJ  and was right back in it. but I dumped half my stack right back with  KJ vs A5. doubling up the guy who had AJ a few hands before. It figures the 2 crucial hands I lose the tournament on, was my king high losing to Ace high, and yet my Ace high cant hold vs QK?? he has to flop 2 pair? really? funny how it works out like that. Personally, I prefer having the QK or QT suited over the AJ or A2. I seem to win those hands and lose when I have the Ace high and slightly favored... Oh well, I played 4 and cashed in 2 of them. needed to win that last 90man to break even for last night's session.

After getting shit on in the x number of tourneys I've played tonight, I crippled a moron who limped QQ in early position. AK limps behind and I'm looking at TT with just under 20 Big blinds in a turbo. I make it 600 at 60/120. QQ flats and AK 3bet shoves on top. I call, QQ calls. The  board runs out 3JJ8T and I cripple both of them and triple up. If QQ makes a standard 3x raise, hand is played differently and he most likely wins. AK will either call or raise. If he flats I probably do as well, and if AK shoves, I fold cause I'm just that bad.
