I've been slacking a ton on this blog.
Mostly because of this ~200 BI downswing I was currently in.
Then I started to take a few days off here and there.
Yesterday morning, I decided to play a few tourneys.
Just a few rush mtts (primarily responsible for my DS).

I ended up shipping one for ~ $350 (still down >100 BI).
Was a much needed boost for moral, as it has been over a month since my last win.

For once, I ran unbelievably good at the FT, knocking out 4 ppl.
Went in to heads up with a slight chip lead, but basically even.
It should have been over in 2 hands. I 4 bet shoved pre with my slightly better ace
(A7o v A3s) and we ended up chopping, big surprise...

Went back and forth, eventually getting back to where we started.
I asked for a chop. he said no. I said ok, and folded my sb.
Picked up A2o the next hand and 3 bet shoved on him. He snapped me off with QKs
Flop came K66 with 2 hearts (only had the Ace of hearts)
9h came on the turn and finally, the beautiful Qh on the river to give me the flush.
It was a 677k pot and he was left with 18k with blinds at 8k/16k
And if that wasn't good enough, I picked up QQ the next hand and won the tourney.
